
A 40-year-old Somalian businessman was found murdered in Leandra on the morning of October 25.
According to Constable Nontobeko Ngubeni, Leandra Police spokesperson, the man’s neighbour informed the police.
Ngubeni said the police found the man’s body next to his yard gate in Da Gama Street.
He had been shot twice in the chest and once in the back.
Ngobeni said neighbours claimed to have heard gunshots during load shedding at about 23:00 last night.
A murder docket was opened and the police investigation continues.
No one has yet been arrested.
