eMbalenhle woman stabs boyfriend to death with table knife

A woman stabbed her boyfriend to death in self-defence on February 1.

The man’s body was found in a house in Ext 26.

According to Constable Busi Mthethwa, a community member called the police to the house, where the cops found people gathering outside.

When the officers entered the house, they found a man lying on his back next to the door.

Paramedics checked him and declared him dead. Mthethwa said the victim was stabbed in the chest and had bruises on his legs.

A woman inside the house claimed to be the dead man’s girlfriend.

She confessed to stabbing him with a table knife in self-defence.

Mthethwa said a murder case was opened and the woman was arrested.
