They beat last year’s Noordvaal winners with 3–2.
Evander High School’s first-team hockey boys tasted victory when they played Ligbron on their turf on March 22.
This away win by EHS’s first team resulted in them beating last year’s crowned Noodvaal winners in a final score of 3–2.
In a nail-biting match also played against Ligbron, the U16 hockey boys and the opposing team kept spectators on their toes.
Both teams came out tops in this live-streamed match that resulted in a draw.
EHS goalie Minam Qwabe saved the game by stopping a penalty shot by the opposing team. The result was 1–1.
