Thief leaves filling station in Villiers without paying

A filling station in Villiers recently fell victim to diesel theft.

According to information, the driver of a white, single-cab Hilux, with a yellow, diesel bowser towed behind the vehicle, poured R15 000 worth of diesel in the bowser.

He sped off without paying and the owner gave chase but lost him in Grootvlei.

The driver drove towards Standerton on the R23/Johannesburg Road.
