Church volunteers ensure full stomachs for needy in Secunda
Support the project and get involved to help the needy this winter.
A group of Seventh Day Adventist Church volunteers launched an outreach project last January to give food to the needy every Saturday.
According to Schalk Labuschagne, who initiated this project, about 100 people line up every Saturday for a meal.
They try to serve food with substance and provide fruit when they can.
The group needs the community’s support to continue this project. They ask for donations of money or food.
