Accident on N17 at Trichardt claims life
People on the scene said at least one person died.
Emergency services are currently on the scene where two vehicles collided on the N17 highway near the scrapyard on the outskirts of Trichardt towards Bethal.
The accident happened at aroun 19:00 this evening, June 18.
One fatality could be confirmed from our reporter who was on scene, and four others injured.
The extent of the injuries were unknown as paramedics from ER24 and Netcare 911 were still attending to the patients at the time of publishing.
The lane from A&E towards the scrapyard is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted through alternative routes.
