Mediclinic Highveld staff boost awareness with campaign

The team celebrated the ‘Socks for Docs’ campaign to combat the stigma around mental health among healthcare professionals.

The staff at Mediclinic Highveld recently raised awareness about mental health in the healthcare profession, primarily focusing on supporting Mediclinic Highveld’s doctors on their journey toward mental health awareness.

The team celebrated the Socks for Docs campaign to combat the stigma around mental health among healthcare professionals.

Sandy Deonarain, the spokesperson for the clinic, said: “Our healthcare professionals face genuine mental health challenges that arise from working in a high-stress environment.

“Therefore, it is crucial that we let our healthcare superheroes know it is okay to ask for help and to prioritise their own well-being.

“To emphasise the significance of this day and to show our support, we invited our healthcare professionals to join the Mediclinic Highveld team by wearing bright, colourful, mismatched, or uniquely designed socks.”
