Good sporting month for Evander High School

Evander High School’s netball, hockey, and rugby teams geared up for their final games.

June seems to be the month of winning for Evander High School’s (EHS) hockey, netball, and rugby teams because they came tops in their matches.

EHS’ first-team hockey boys played Lydenburg at Hoërskool Nelspruit on June 10 and won their match 4-2.

They then played Cambridge and won 4-1.

This team will go to Curro Nelspruit on July 17 to compete in the quarter- and semifinals.

EHS’ U14 netball girls are undefeated this season and will play Nelspruit High School on June 15 for the playoffs.

The undefeated U14 rugby team will be in the finals on July 22.
