Taking nude selfies is considered child pornography.

The police are still experiencing problems with teenagers sending nude photos of themselves to their friends.
Warrant Officer Gloudie Sachse of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offence (FCS) Unit of the police, said teenagers do not realise that it is an offence and that they can be arrested for it.
“To take a nude photo of yourself is creating of pornography, if you then send that photo, it is distribution of pornography, if you have such photos on your phone, it is possession of pornography,” said Sachse.
“You can be charged for three crimes.
“Any videos, photos or selfies you take of your private parts is against the law and you can be prosecuted.”
She urged parents to check their children’s phones and make sure they do not take part in these activities.
