More than 200 take part in Secunda parkrun
A morning of beautiful weather and clear skies welcomed 210 parkrunners to the Secunda parkrun number 372.
Some 210 parkrunners set off on September 23 in Secunda parkrun number 372 and walked, jogged or ran the 5km route.
The first woman to finish was Annemie Wiggett, who beat her personal best time, with Emilia le Roux in second and third was Bianca Swart.
Pienaar Jansen van Rensburg was the first man to finish, with Dirk van den Heever coming in second and Willie-Uys Janse van Rensburg third.
The following parkrunners were congratulated for their best times at the Secunda parkrun: Pierre Swart 0:27:49, Wiggett 0:29:58, Juandré Roets 0:30:42, John Minnie 0:32:55, Sudarshan Dangra 0:36:37, Jacky Olivier 0:38:43, Thandiwe Magagula 0:40:59, Sally Afonso 0:41:43, Matthew Alfonso 0:41:43, Jean-Pierre Fouche 0:44:42, Lee-Handi van Rooyen 0:47:08, Handré van Rooyen 0:47:21, Mmaphefo Namane 0:49:57, Annalize Brits 0:52:36 and Ronel Purchase 0:52:56.
Pparkrun Secunda South Africa welcomed these new members: Elias Du Preez, Lené van Rooyen, Morné van
Rooyen, Tania Martens, Jan Cloete and Annette Kuipers. Parkrunners are asked to support the parkrun by volunteering whenever they can. You can bring family members, elderly folk, the injured or your children to volunteer.
