Standerton Police recover suspected stolen properties
After realising that a bicycle and two grinders were missing, the house owner checked his CCTV footage and noticed the intruder enter the premises.
Two suspects were to appear in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on September 27 after their arrest for possession of suspected stolen properties.
The police apprehended them in Standerton on September 22.
According to a recent statement by the provincial commissioner, one suspect allegedly gained entry from the garage while the gardener was on the other side of the premises.
The suspect found several goods kept in the garage.

He reported the matter to the SAPS in Standerton, who investigated. They caught the suspect in Ext 4, Sakhile.
The suspect then led the police to an address where they found suspected stolen properties.
The SAPS visited another address in Sakhile, and additional suspected stolen properties, including a bicycle and grinders, were recovered.
Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela welcomed the arrests.
