Wet Nose in Bronkhorstspruit saves dog from the brink of death
Happiness, a pit bull, was saved from hunger and death by the members of Wet Nose.
Happiness, a pit bull, was saved from hunger and death by Wet Nose Animal Shelter members. Everyone at Wet Nose saw Happiness’ transformation from the depths of despair to the heights of hope.
Each member played a role through prayers, love, and support.
Declan Rodocanachi from Wet Nose said, “It is hard to believe the incredible progress our brave pit bull has made since that fateful day in the field.
“Happiness is a shining beacon of resilience and strength.”
She is no longer emaciated, enjoys her meals with Gusto (Happiness’ cage mate) and has a healthy shine to her coat, free from ticks and fleas.

Rodocanachi said, “The physical healing has been miraculous and emotional. She is making strides every day.
“While she remains a tad shy with new faces, she has found comfort and friendship among our dedicated staff, showing that, with patience and love, her trust can indeed be won over.
“As much as our heart swells with pride at her recovery, we know her story’s next chapter can’t be written here at Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre.
“Happiness deserves a place she can truly call home, a sanctuary where she feels safe, loved and cherished every day,” said Rodocanachi.
