Locals pray for safety in the Bronkhorstspruit area during the festive season
The prayer meeting was organised in an open field next to the R568.
The Pastors Forum and the City of Tshwane (Region 7) organised a prayer meeting in an open field next to the R568 on November 23 to pray as everyone enters the festive season.
The programme co-ordinator was Reverend Charles Magagula and pastors from various churches attended.
The purpose was to pray together for the festive season and also against accidents on the R568.
Prayer topics included road safety, unity, crime, food poisoning, elections, substance abuse, corruption and service delivery.
Community members, the SAPS, Metro Police, the Council of Churches and the municipal health services attended the event.
Pastor Lucas Mabena ended the day with a prayer. Regional Head of Region 7 Jabu Mabona thanked everyone who attended.
