Delmas Bowling Club loses battle against Modderbee

The Delmas Bowling Club hosted yet another league competition in which four clubs competed.
The Ekurhuleni Bowls Perfect Delivery Saturday League (men’s third division) matches were played on December 2.
Clubs that competed on home ground were the Boksburg Bowling Club against Atlas and Delmas took on Modderbee.
“Delmas lost against a much stronger Modderbee team,” said an additional committee member of the Delmas Bowling Club, Hanri Ehlers.
Ehlers told Streek News that they are extremely proud of their veteran star player, Piet Vorster.
“Oom Piet is maybe 80 but he still plays like a real champ.
Ehlers confirmed that the next league games will be on December 9.
“That will be our last game for the year. Thereafter, it is bowling balls down until January.”
