Intruder attacks homeowner in Kerk Street, Standerton
Standerton man grabs his belongings from thief.
Kasselman Security Services (KSS) received a distress call from Kerk Street on January 3 after an intruder attacked the homeowner.
According to KSS, the suspect gained entry to the yard by breaking the palisade fence. He then accessed the house by breaking a window.
The homeowner heard a noise, and upon investigation, found the intruder sliding a speaker through the window.
As the homeowner grabbed the speaker, he was attacked with an unknown object. The assailant fled the scene empty-handed.
KSS armed response was on the scene and took the homeowner for medical assistance. They reminded homeowners to remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions to safeguard their properties.
Installing security systems, including alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and sturdy fencing, can significantly deter potential intruders.
KSS said this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of reliable security services in safeguarding one’s home and community.
