Unemployed youth protested again on March 18 in front of the main municipal building.

They carried placards showing their dissatisfaction with the Lekwa Economic Development Forum (LED).

“They want jobs and not excuses,” one placard read.

They held a peaceful protest on March 7 on Baumann Street and prevented people going to Tutuka Power Station from passing.

The unemployed in Lekwa gathered on Mbonani Mayisela Street with their memorandum on February 22.
