Secunda Mall reopens after storm
Engineers and safety consultants have declared the mall safe to access.
With all safety measures in place after Sunday’s storm, Secunda Mall can open its doors for the public again tomorrow (October 22).
Engineers and safety consultants have declared the mall safe to access, and necessary precautions have been taken to ensure a secure shopping environment.
While the majority of stores will resume normal trading, areas affected by recent incidents have been cordoned off for the safety of shoppers and staff.
Stores within these affected zones will remain temporarily closed.
“We are working closely with these tenants to expedite their reopening and will provide updates to the public as soon as possible.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this time and look forward to welcoming everyone back for a safe shopping experience at Secunda Mall,” said Marita Kroon from the mall’s management team.
