Dra Mekaar members were welcomed back to yet another year of plenty of gatherings at the NG Kerk Goedehoop Gemeente on January 22.
Ds Diederich Kleynhans opened the morning with scripture reading and prayer.
At the top of the agenda, Ben Moolman announced that the church had approved the layout of a Jukskei pit for members.
He asked anyone lying around with wooden keys or pegs to donate it to Dra Mekaar.
Chairperson Eileen Bezuidenhout shared with members the fun activities planned for the year, the highlight being the annual holiday to De Votpadkloof happening in October.
Members are reminded to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The tin food project has begun and all donations are welcome.
The next meeting will be on February 5.
