Mediclinic Highveld opened its new adult critical care unit (CCU) on January 29, when doctors and the media could view this unit.

According to Heinrich Liebenberg, general manager of the hospital, this state-of-the-art unit holds 10 beds and is a milestone that underscores Mediclinic Highveld’s commitment to delivering world-class healthcare services to the community.

“These upgrades come as a direct response to a growing demand for adult ICU beds within the community and reaffirm our dedication and commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of our patients,” said Liebenberg.

Mediclinic Highveld’s new critical care unit was launched on January 29 and will open in February.

The CCU is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, including advanced monitoring systems, ventilators, and critical care equipment, which translates to the best possible care for the patients.

Liebenberg further said: “Opening this unit represents a step forward in our mission to provide exceptional care.

“We are confident this facility will make a tangible difference in the lives of our patients and their families.”
