Dra Mekaar members meet in Secunda for monthly get-together

Members will meet again on February 18, at Bossa, for a Valentine's breakfast.

Dra Mekaar members met for their twice-monthly meeting on February 4, at the NG Kerk Goedehoop Gemeente.

The gathering was opened with scripture reading and a prayer by Ds Diederich Kleynhans.

Ds Kleynhans introduced Ds Danie and Ds Trunette de Jongh to the Dra Mekaar members.

The couple, originally from the Free State, moved from Port Elizabeth to Secunda to assist with preaching at the NG Kerk Secunda-Oos.

André Jonker, Maurie Page, Sarel, and Heleen Erwee led members in worship songs.

Members were thanked for their contributions so far towards the pasta and soup collection and the baby blanket project.

Birthday wishes went out to Heleen Erwee and Keith Harris.

Condolences were extended to members who have lost their loved ones.

Members will meet again on February 18, at Bossa, for a Valentine’s breakfast.
