Divers recover body from river in eMbalenhle

The man's family has identified the body.

Delta 1 Rescue Diving responded to an incident at Trichardtspruit, eMbalenhle, where the body of a 38-year-old man was recovered from the river today [July 3].

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unknown and remain under investigation by the relevant authorities.

The deceased was positively identified on scene by family members. Following the recovery, the body was handed over to eMbalenhle SAPS and the Mpumalanga Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation and processing.

Delta 1 Rescue’s team extended their condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
