Walker Park Golf Club pleased with raising thousands for cancer
Women’s committee was commended for their dedication.
Walker Park Golf Club in Evander reached their target of R50 000 during the Sanlam Cancer Challenge Golf Day held on Saturday, 14 July.
Altogether 92 golfers took part in the event.
Ms M Janse van Rensburg, club manager, said the club was pleased that the target was reached and exceeded.
She thanked everybody who took part, especially the women’s committee that worked tirelessly to organise the event.
