Dancers compete in Secunda Sport Dance League

Dancers competed in the Secunda Sport Dance League at Highveld Park High School that was presented by CF Els Dance Studio on Saturday, 18 August.

Classic category
The dancers who obtained gold medals in the classic category are Jemma Laubscher (CF Els Dance Studio), Malindi Mthethwa (CF Els Dance Studio), Melissa Lourens (CF Els Dance Studio) and Jearita Fouche (Step2Dream Dance Academy).
The dancers who obtained silver medals in this category are Matodzi Makhado (Step2Dream Dance Academy), Jeahne de Beer (Step2Dream Dance Academy), Chanelle Genis (CF Els Dance Studio) and Diane van Rooyen (CF Els Dance Studio).
The dancers who obtained bronze medals in this category are Liame Clarke (Double H Dance Company), Tshiamo Biyela (Step2Dream Dance Academy), Tanya Bruggeman (Step2Dream Dance Academy) and Bianca Alberts (Step2Dream Dance Academy).
Latin category
Makhado also obtained a gold medal in the Latin category and a bronze medal in the energy dance category, while Mthethwa also obtained a gold medal in the Latin category and the Latin dance category and a bronze medal in the open hip hop category. Lourens also obtained a gold medal in the Latin category and the energy dance category. Diane van Rooyen (CF Els Dance Studio) got gold medals in the Latin category and in the energy dance category, and Bianca Alberts (Step2Dream Dance Academy) also obtained a gold medal in this category.
Alberts also got a gold medal in the energy dance category and a silver medal in the open hip hop category.
The other dancers who excelled in the Latin category are Jemma Laubsher (CF Els Dance Studio) who obtained a silver medal and Biyela and Genis who got silver medals in this category and in the energy dance category.
De Beer obtained a silver medal in the Latin category and a bronze medal in the energy dance category.

Adele Womlarans (Step2Dream Dance Academy) obtained a bronze medal in the Latin category, while Bruggeman also got a bronze medal in this category and another bronze medal in the energy dance category and Anelda Stander (Double H Dance Company) and Madison Naidoo (CF Els Dance Studio) also obtained bronze medals in the Latin category and Naidoo a gold medal in the open hip hop category.
Energy dance competition
In the energy dance category, the gold medallists are Mia-lissa Lourens (CF Els Dance Studio) and Priscilla Pretorius (Step2Dream Dance Academy).
