Everbody is welcome to take part in #SecundaParkrun

Ermelo will begin with a parkrun initiative soon.

SECUNDA – The cold wind did not stop runners and walkers from taking part in the Secunda parkrun on Saturday, 18 August.

Johannes Janse van Rensburg was awarded for volunteering more than 25 times at the parkrun.

Mr Dean Moore, one of the organisers of the parkrun, said Secunda parkrun has a fantastic group of volunteers from the community who give their time weekly and brave the weather to help at the parkrun.

“It is not an exclusive club and anybody is welcome to take part or volunteer at the Secunda parkrun,” said Mr Moore.

The parkrun is currently working with a group of Ermelo to begin a parkrun there as well.

The Secunda parkrun takes place every Saturday at 8am in the green strip next to the Sasol Recreation Club.
