Sasol will host the match between Mpumalanga Titans and Limopo on 13 October

SECUNDA – The teams of Sasol Cricket Club occupied the cricket pitch this weekend with three games taken place on Saturday and Sunday.

In the Promotion League, Sasol Academy faced the Sasol 3 Griffons at Sasol Club in Secunda on Saturday, 6 October.

Sasol Griffons went in to bat first and scored 154 all out in 34 overs. Francois Buys scored 49.

Sasol Academy’s best bowler was Ruan Jacobs with five wickets for 44 runs in his 10 overs.

The team made 120 runs with Harmand Aukamp scoring 59.

Ruhan Delport was Sasol 3’s best bowler with six wickets for 23 runs in nine overs.

Sasol Secunda also played the first T20 game against eMba at Sasol on Sunday.

They scored 172 runs for three wickets in their 20 overs.

George Louw was their top scorer with 72 not out.

Sasol Secunda bowled eMba out for 117 runs.

Siya Mahima was Sasol’s best bowler with four wickets for 22 runs in his four overs.

Sasol Bulldogs played the second T20 game also against eMba.

eMba won the toss and chose to bat first. eMba made 104 runs for eight wickets in their 20 overs.

The best bowler was JP Austin with two wickets for 14 runs in his four overs.

Sasol Bulldogs chased the score down in 11.3 overs. Nicus Boshoff was Sasol’s best batman with an unbeaten 52 runs.

Sasol Secunda Cricket Club will host the Mpumalanga Titans versus Limpopo game on Saturday 13 October.

The following day, Sunday 14 October, Sasol Secunda will face Piet Retief and Sasol Bulldogs will play against Bethal Bears.

In the Promotion League Sasol Griffons will host Sasol Kinross on Saturday while Sasol Academy will travel to face Piet Retief Eagles on Sunday.
