Steinmüller Africa hosts wellness sports day in Secunda
Camden and Majuba win soccer trophies
SECUNDA – Soccer and netball teams competed on Saturday, 27 October at the Sasol Recreation Club during Steinmüller Africa (Pty) Ltd’s Wellness’ Sports Day.
It was part of Steinmüller’s Employee Wellness Program (EWP) and the aim of the WoZa Wellness Sports Day was to get the employees together in a spirit of team collaboration, to connect and to generate healthy competition.
The program also promoted wellbeing and fitness awareness and the day was fully endorsed and supported by the top management team of Steinmüller Africa.
“Our WoZa wellness committee organised the day with the support of our business unit and site sport representatives, WoZa Champions mostly safety officers and management representatives,” said Mr Leon Botha, Talent Manager.
The Camden team and the Majuba teams were the winners of the day in the soccer while Kriel won the netball and the Matla team took the trophy for having the most team spirit.
