Paddlers complete time trial at Trichardtsfontein Dam

Lean Pretorius was the fastest paddler once again, on 20 December in Sasol Canoe Club’s time trials at Trichardtfontein Dam.

He won the time trials last week as well.

He finished the total distance of 5.73km in 32 minutes.

Louis Venter finished second, also in 32 minutes and Nick Venter finished third in 24 min 36 sec.

Ross Murray finished fourth with a time of 35 min 30 sec, Pieter van den Berg (senior) finished fifth with a time of 36 min 40 sec, Kobus van Antwerpen finished sixth with a time of 36 min 46 sec and Lordshare Koto finished seventh with a time of 37 min 5 sec.

Pieter van den Bergh (junior) finished eighth with a time of 39 min 55 sec and Gerhard Snyman (swimmer) finished 10th with a time of 42 min 5 sec.

Sasol Canoe Club will be hosting time trials every Thursday afternoon at Trichardtsfontein Dam.
