Rising Stars F.C in the top spot in Govan Mbeki Promotion Soccer League
Supporters can look forward to another shift on the league score board with more matches to follow on Saturday, 9 February.
HIGHVELD – The Govan Mbeki Promotion Soccer League continued over the weekend with Prosper the Legacy abstaining from their match against Evander Academy FC on Saturday, 2 February.
The results showed Prosper the Legacy dropping to 12th position whilst Evander Academy FC shot to 11th place from 14th.
Rising Stars FC jumped from the third position to the top spot on the league this week after their match against Phezulu FC ended with a 2-0 score.
Young Stars FC beat Sasol Juventus FC by two goals to one. The other matches included Zone Two FC who punished the Argitators FC with three goals to one, but unfortunately remaining in the same position as last week on the log.
Coboyi FC had a hard time against Home Boys FC, who are the underdogs of the league, but managed to maintain their 10th place on the score board with a score of 3-2.
Sasol Thistle Grove FC beat The Stars FC with a final score of 2-1.
Yizo Yizo FC triumphed over XI Experience FC by 2-0. Shining Stars FC are standing firm in the 9th position after playing against Premeria FC who did not score, but also kept their position in the 8th place.
