MegChem Cycling Club and Lake Umuzi present 10th Cosmos 3-in-1 MTB Challenge in Secunda
Cyclists and their families can spend the day at Kamp Oase where there will be several things to do for the kids in the entertainment with jumping castles, face painters and much more.
SECUNDA – The 10th Cosmos 3-in-1 MTB Challenge is happening at Lake Umuzi this Saturday, 23 March.
Cyclists who are up for a challenge can still enter this unique race beginning at Kamp Oase @ Lake Umuzi.
Although the pre-entries closes this week, cyclists can still enter at the venue on Friday night, 22 March and before the race on Saturday.
The challenge comprises of a 68km marathon race, a 33km half marathon race and then lap races.
The marathon race sets off at 6.30am with a cut off time at 11:15am.
The half marathon begins at 11.30am and riders have until 2.15pm to complete the race.
There will also be a fun ride for the kids that begins at 7:15am.
The final event are the lap races. The women’s lap race begins at 3pm followed by the men’s lap race at 3.30pm.

Cyclists who aim to take part in the races, but were unable to register online, can still register on Friday night from 5pm to 9pm at the Wilge Lapa on Lake Umuzi’s South Bank, where you can also join in a pasta night at R30 per bowl.
Registration will be open from 5am at the same venue on Saturday.
