Cash prizes up for grabs to winners of 7-a-side soccer tournament in Secunda
Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three teams.

SECUNDA – The Sasol Celtic Football Club is hosting their annual 7-a-side soccer tournament at the Sasol recreation on Saturday, 30 March.
The tournament is limited to 12 teams and the good news is that there are still spots left for teams wanting to take part.
The cost of registering for the competition is R500 per team.
Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three teams.
The basis for the competition is two groups of six teams played in a round robin on two pitches, with the top two teams of each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
Each game will be played with five minutes for each half.
The semi-finals, final and third place play-offs will have seven minutes each way.
If the teams do not arrive before or at the scheduled kick-off time, the game will be forfeited and a 2-0 win awarded to the complicit team.
A play-off will determine the third place.
The draw for the two leagues will be held prior to the day of the competition.
The tournament will strictly begin at 8.30am with a managers meeting in the Sasol Celtic Football clubhouse that is the building situated by the netball courts.
The first kick-off will be at 9am and teams arriving late may lose their place to “stand-in” teams.
If the teams do not arrive before or at the scheduled kick-off time, the game will be forfeited and a 2-0 win awarded to the complicit team.
Teams will on the log score three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a loss.
The highest number of points determines league positions. In the event of equal points, goal difference applies and thereafter the highest number of goals scored.
In the event of a draw in the semi-finals, final and play-off only, extra time of two minutes each half will be played.
If no result after extra time, in the semi-finals, final and play-off only, the match will be determined by penalties (five penalties each – thereafter sudden death if required).
Only the players remaining on the field can participate in the penalty shoot-out.
There is no limitation to the run up of the player taking the penalty.
