Teams move up in the Action Sport leagues in Secunda
The Flying Fish action netball inter-provincial tournaments for overs and unders will take place from 26 April to 1 May
SECUNDA – Several teams moved up on their respective league logs after securing good wins the past week.
On the cricket pitch, the A league is still dominated by the Eagles now on 113 points.
Their closest competitors are the Secunda Saints on 73.
Dream Team, Fastner & Fluid and Easy Safe remain in their respective third, fourth and fifth positions.
The Bashers are leading with a mere five points above the Spartans in the B league on 96 points.
The C league is still boasting with Rhinos 1 at the top of the leader board on 90 points with no changes in position for the other teams.
The D league saw a slight change when the PDP Barbarians overtook PDPS in the fifth position.
Buffalo’s are however still strongly in the lead with 101 points.
Reyamisa kicked the Vintage Dragons down from fourth to fifth place in the E league.
The rest of the teams remain the same with Dixi Normus in the lead at 98 points followed by Geekem All-Stars on 95.
In the mixed league the Challengers and Hit & Run are in a tie with 81 points each. Their closest competitors are the Dynamic Dynamite with 39 points.
The Dragonites is a new team to the league and currently places last in sixth position.
Middelbult moved down to make place for Proconics Cricket in the fourth place in the corporate league where Waghonde is still at the very top with 112 points.
The Graceland Reds dropped down two positions to last on the log, while Mono Monsters and WBHO Avengers moved up to sixth and seventh positions respectively.
The netball leagues also had small changes.
The mixed 1 league saw Death Squad 1 overtake Warriors 1 in the second place.
All Stars are still at the top in this league.
Mixed 2 league’s positions remained the same.
Fire Squad kicked the Gecko’s down a notch from fourth to fifth position in the mixed 3 league.
The Vipers are still at the top with 78 points.
In the mixed 4 league, the Avengers jumped to the first position with 66,5 points, forcing the New Avengers into second place with 58 points.
Reckless 1 also swapped their third position for the Raptors’ second position in the mixed 5 league.
The all women league experienced a change as the Roly Polly’s moved up from last position to that of number six, kicking the Diligents and 50 Shades of Awesome down to positions seven and eight respectively.
On the hockey front, M&Ms are still in the lead in the women’s league, while Ladies Xtreme moved into second place and Pink Flamingos into third position.
Strangers with Candy and Wild-Links tied in the mixed league while the Foxes overtook Extreme in the fifth position.
