Sasol’s junior teams tackle eMba and Bethal

eMbalenhle beats Sasol Henleo team

SECUNDA – Sasol Cricket Club’s teams played in week 3 of the MCU Junior Club League on Saturday, 4 May and Sunday 5 May.

Sasol Henlo Strikers won the match against the Courier Guy Little Bears with 82 runs.

Sasol scored 165 runs all out in 43.5 overs and Pieter van Niekerk top scored with 58 runs.

Sasol bowled the Little Bears out for 83 runs.

The Sasol Henlo Stars played against eMbalenhle on Sunday and eMbalenhle outplayed Sasol by beating them by 218 runs.

eMbalenhle scored 255 runs and bowled the Stars out for only 37 runs.

Sasol Henleo U/15 team also played against eMbalenhle’s U/15 team on Sunday and Sasol won by scoring 274 runs.

Sasol bowled eMbalenhle out for 165 runs.

Phillip Swart of Sasol scored 76 runs and De Wet Burger scored 52 runs.

Harmand Aucamp of Ssaol took four wickets for 16 runs.

Sasol Henleo’s U/19 team played aginst the Courier Guy Bears Cubs and Sasol bowled the Bears out for 64 runs and won the match with nine wickets inside 13 overs.

JP Austin took four wickets for only two runs and Lee Mokoena made 30 runs not out and Johan van Antwerpen made 16 runs not out.
