Sasol’s junior cricket club wins all matches

Young cricket players excel in matches

SECUNDA – The Sasol Henleo Junior Cricket Club won all four matches they played over the past weekend.

The Sasol Henleo Strikers’ U/13-team played against eMbalenhle’s U/13 team on Saturday.

Sasol bowled out eMba for 111 runs and won the match with 43 runs.

Revonne Singh was Sasol’s top scorer with 36 runs and Simeon Rudolph with 32 runs.

Singh was also the top wicket taker with 3/22.

Wian van den Berg took 3/22 wickets.

The Sasol Henleo’s U/15 team played against the Middelburg Mavericks on Sunday, 19 May and bowled out Middelburg for 117 runs.

Sasol made 259/4 in 50 turns.

The top scorers are De Wet Burger with 87 runs not out, and Phillip Swart with 69 runs.

Swart was the top wicket taker with 4/29 and Harmand Aucamp with 3/30.

The Sasol Henleo U/19 team beat eMbalenhle’s U/19 team by scoring 180 runs.

eMba managed to make 89 runs.

The top scorers are Johan van Antwerpen with 50 runs and Michael Rossouw with 41 runs.

The top wicket takers are JP Austin with 3/14 and Rossouw with 3/23.

Sasol’s U/11 and U/12 team also beat the Bethal Bears’ U/11 team on Sunday.
