SAIMC Secunda branch host successful golf day

Heinrich Britz and his staff at Graceland Country Club did a great job and the course was in an outstanding condition.

SECUNDA – It was a case of mixing business with pleasure, during the SAIMC Secunda branch’s annual golf challenge.

For the first time is was hosted at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club.

“We hosted a corporate golf day, consisting of 30 teams from various companies who played against each other. This was not only a fundraising event, we also used the chance to expose our profession to this wonderful sport,” said the organiser and branch chairman, Mr Johan Maritz.

“The golf challenge was by all accounts a prodigious success. Heinrich Britz and his staff at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club did a great job and the course was in an outstanding condition,” said Mr Maritz.

The winner of this year’s event was team WMS. Their name will be added to the Secunda Branch Golf Challenge Trophy.
