Thobelani claims victory in Kay Motsepe Cup-final

The U/19- soccer teams of secondary schools competed in the Kay Motsepe Cup-final at Stanwest Combined School on Wednesday, 21 August during which Thobelani Secondary School claimed a 4-2 victory.

Since the beginning of August, eight schools took part in this tournament namely Thuto-Thebe Secondary School, Azalea Combined School, Jandrell Secondary School, Khunjuliwe Secondary School, Stanwest Combined School, Khula-Sakhile Secondary School, Thobelani Secondary School and Holmdene Secondary School.

The Kay Motsepe Cup is sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation.

Thobelani Secondary School beat Jandrell Secondary School in the final and will represent the circuit at the district event at the Sasol Club in Kinross on 7 September.
