Parkrunner does not miss a beat

The weekend’s event will see Fadeela Omar in action when her 100th parkrun is on the cards.

A total of 112 athletes participated in the 80th parkrun at the Standerton River Park on Saturday, 31 August.

Seven managed to improve on their latest times.

Barend van Dyk, Chantelle van Tonder, Charl van Wyk, Jaden Welgemoed, Jennifer Naidoo, Leandri van Wyk, Marjorie Uys, Pomesan Govender, Preynaka Dorasamy, Priscilla Ramdharee, Renette de Sousa, Romalan Dorasamy, Simoné Schutte, Stanley du Plessis, Sylvy Moodley, Theo Schönfeldt and Thyler Welgemoed were on their posts to facilitate smooth running for the participants.

The parkrun is free of charge and to register go to www.parkrun.co.za to join.
