Darts players compete at Pandas opening
The players who excelled are Anna-Marie Lezar and Elize Coetzer who won the women’s doubles category.
SECUNDA – Darts players from various clubs competed in the official opening of Pandas Darts Club in August.
Mr Rees Naidoo of Pandas Darts Club, said it was a success and players from Victor Khanye Club, eMalahleni (Witbank), Steve Tshwete area and Sasol Darts Club as well as Pandas Darts Club were present on the day.
There were categories for men, women and junior darts players.
Mr Naidoo said the opening was a stepping stone for future national darts players in Mpumalanga.
The players who excelled are Anna-Marie Lezar and Elize Coetzer who won the women’s doubles category.
Karen Anthony and Lynette Ludwig finished second in this category and Wilma Dreyer and Wendy van Vuuren finished third.
In the men’s doubles category, Arthur Oberholzer and Chris Kruger finished first while Jacques Coetzee and Arelindo du Toit finished second and Danie Botha and Terry Scheepers third.
Rosita Lange won the women’s singles category while Jennifer van Vuuren finished second and Katelyn Coetzee third.
Danie Botha won the men’s singles category while Jacques Coetzee finished second and Arelindo du Toit third.
