Regional ambassador clocks in 100 parkruns
This is a free event during which volunteers facilitate smooth running on the 5km course.
A remarkable milestone was achieved at the Standerton parkrun at the Standerton River Park on Saturday, 7 September when Fadeela Omar participated for the 100th time.
Fadeela is also the regional ambassador for the parkrun.
A total of 80 runners took part at the 81st event with 13 first-timers arriving.
Altogether nine personal best times were registered.
