Milestones celebrated at Standerton River Park 83rd parkrun
Milestones were celebrated as well with Marjorie Uys, Gerhardus le Roux and Catherine le Roux completing their 50th event and Sylvy Moodley doing her 25th stint as volunteer.
A total of 88 participants were off the mark at the Standerton River Park for the customary parkrun on Saturday, 21 September.

Altogether 17 athletes recorded their personal best times.
Volunteers ensured smooth running or walking on the 5km course.
Achiel Ramsaroop, Antoinette Herbst, Arizelle du Toit, Chantelle van Tonder, Corne Griesel, Hugh Robertson, Jaden Welgemoed, Jennifer Naidoo, Leandri van Wyk, Linda Koekemoer, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Jean Robertson, Nonkululeko Mnisi, Preyanka Dorasamy, Renette de Sousa, Romalan Dorasamy, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Stanley du Plessis, Sylvy Moodley, Theo Schönfeldt, Thyler Welgemoed and Wessel Herbst acted as facilitators.
This free event registered six first-timers.
