SECUNDA – A special golf day is being held on 3 October to raise money for Mpumalanga’s police golf team.
Graceland Country Club is hosting the fundraiser in the form of a better ball scramble drive. Entry cost R250 per player.
The tee off will begin from 9am.
According to Col Kawa Karelse, the Mpumalanga Police team will take part in the national police golf tournament held in Potchefstroom from 6 to 12 October.
Col Karelse, Capt Chris Venter and Sgt AB Tshabalala, as well as Ms Helen du Plooy are locals who are part of the provincial team.
The team includes eight men, a woman and a team manager.
