Athletes for Maximed Night Race can get ready
Athletes can participate in different categories for example the open category for men and women, the age group 40 to 49 years, 50 to 59 years, 60 to 69 years, 70 years and over, juniors and official walkers.
The Maximed Night Race, 5km and 10km, will begin from the sport grounds of Hoƫrskool Standerton on Wednesday 2 October at 7pm.
Entries will be registered at 5pm.
The route is similar to the previous years, with the exception that the starting point will be on the tar road outside the sports gate of Hoƫrskool Standerton.
Athletes taking part in the 5km will finish on the road at the same spot. The 10km will consist of two laps and the finishing point will be in the school’s stadium, entering at the side gate (dirt road) and doing a final lap on the track.
The entry fee for the 10km is R70, whereas R40 with no temporary licence required, is needed for the 5km.

Walkers must have a ‘W’ tag on their vest for this race.
The competition is run under the rules of the IAAF and ASA and 2019-licence numbers are to be worn on the front and back.
