Sasol beats eMbalenhle by 261 runs

SECUNDA – Sasol Cricket Club’s first team is back on track after a big 261 run win over eMbalenhle on Saturday, 9 November.

Sasol lost the toss and was send in to bat first.

Nicus Boshoff (60) and Johan Visagie (68) set up a 154 run opening partnership.

Sasol managed to score 307 runs. Sasol managed to bowl out eMbalenhle for 46 runs.

Gerald Ngwenyama took four wickets for only 10 runs in nine overs.

Sasol Kinross however, lost to Ermelo 2 with 23 runs during their match played in Ermelo.

Siyabonga Mtsweni took three wickets with Mark Joseph and Sifisi Shili each taking two wickets.

Lehlohonolo Mofokeng top scored for Kinross with 40 runs.

The Sasol womens’ match against Standerton was abandoned due to weather.
