Athletes join 100th parkrun at the Standerton River Park

A total of 11 personal best times were recorded and 11 first-timers were initiated in this activity.

The 100th parkrun at the Standerton River Park on Saturday, 4 January saw 121 participants taking on the 5km course.

A total of 11 personal best times was recorded and 11 first-timers were initiated in this activity.

The event is free of charge and a bar code is used to register your time. Volunteers were on hand to facilitate smooth running or walking and 31 decided to be there for the occasional cautionary advice or enthusiastic cheering on.
