SECUNDA – Sasol Secunda Cricket Club will begin again with practice in March.
The club has several cricket teams, including senior men teams, that take part in two premier leagues and two promotional leagues.
Their season runs from September to March.
The club’s women team plays in the Gert Sibande 35 league and the 20 Over league.
Their season is from November to March.
The junior cricket teams include the U/13, U/15 and U/17 teams and their season runs from March to June.
Practice times for senior men are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm and for the senior women on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm.
The junior teams will begin practicing in March. The U/13 team will practice on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7.30pm and the U/15 and U/17 teams will practice on Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm.
Sasol had a good season and is currently at the top of the Gert Sibande Premier League, while the Sasol Bulldogs are second, Bethal Bears third and Standerton fourth.
In the Promotional League, Ermelo 2 is at the top of the log while Standerton is second, the Griffons third and the Piet Retief Eagles fourth.
In the women’s league, Sasol’s women take the lead, while the Highveld women’s team is second and Standerton third.
