Lion FC managed to hold Lekwa City until halftime, with a score of 0-0.
The second half was a different kettle of fish when Lekwa City showed more hunger and Mzimkhulu Tshabalala scored the first goal, within the first few minutes.
The defense of Lion FC showed a lot of cracks as Lekwa City FC was pushing with Moshe Masikane, scoring the second goal.
Lekwa City FC did not relax even while leading, wanting more and Isaack Nhlapho scored the third goal towards the end of the second half.
They have played 21 matches, won 17 and drew four. The team is standing on 55 points, with 11 matches to play.
