Lekwa City FC wins Stream A of the league in district
Should Lekwa City FC secure a victory, they will automatically be one of the teams to participate in the 2020/2021 season of the ABC Motsepe-league in Mpumalanga.
Lekwa City FC has been declared winners of the 2019/2020 Stream A Gert Sibande League, following a meeting at the Safa regional offices in Secunda on Sunday, 25 October.
Covid-19 regulations had its effect on soccer and eight matches could not be played.
The team is going to the playoffs in the Nkangala District on 21 November, competing against two teams from two different regions in the province.

Lekwa City has played 23 matches, won 18, drew five, with no loss.
The goal scoring difference is 41 and they have obtained 59 points.
Both Messrs Sihle ‘Mboma’ Thwala and Oupa ‘Nkebe’ Radebe, former PSL-players, are in charge of leading the team to the next level of the football league.
