Racers countrywide visit Ermelo RC Club to compete in Tamiya Cup
There were racers from all overs South Africa, with a grand total of 55 entries.
Ermelo RC Club hosted the Tamiya Cup at their club near Airport in Ermelo on 5 December.
According to Mr Wors Breytenbach, vice chairman of Ermelo RC Club, this was the last event and final round for the Tamiya Cup 2020.
He said: “Ermelo RC Club was chosen to host this event.”
There were racers from all overs South Africa, with a grand total of 55 entries.
Oros van der Walt won best looking vehicles (Concourse) in the truck and touring category and Janice Storm won the same award in the F1 remote controlled car category.
Julian Steyn (Ermelo) won the rookie class.
In the Euro Trucks B-Mains category Christo Bouwer (Ermelo) took the first position, with Riaan Jimmy in second place and Kobus Grobler in third.
Jonathan Wilken (Redline Club) won Euro Truck A-Mains category with Wors Breytenbach in Second place and Jono Brett in third.
