Clubs compete in sevens rugby tournament in eMba
In the U/16 sevens finals TWC beat Delmas 26-14.
The eMbalenhle Rugby Club, TWC, Delmas Rugby Club and Bethal Rugby Club competed in the sevens rugby tournament held at eMbalenhle Sports and Recreation Centre on Saturday, December 10.
In the U/16 finals TWC beat Delmas 26-14.
Once again TWC took a victorious win in the U/19 finals against eMbalenhle Rugby Club beating them 12-7.
Organiser Blessing Sibande said the purpose of this tournament was to promote rugby to previously disadvantaged communities.
“We believe the combination of this fantastic sporting entertainment and everything that rugby has to offer will see this event grow in the future,” said Sibande.
