Leandra Athletics Club to host a 10km run
The 10km run and fun run hosted by Leandra Athletics Club, will take off from Osizweni Special School on September 25.
The Leandra Athletics Club will be hosting a 10km run and a fun run on September 25. Runners will take off at 6:00 from Osizweni Special School and finish at the same spot.
The entrance fee is R100 for both the 10km run (14 years and older) and the fun run (all ages).
There is a cost of R40 for a temporary license for the 10km run.
Registration is on September 23 from 12:00 to 17:00, September 24 from 12:00 to 15:00 and on race day, September 25, from 4:00 to 5:30.
Prizes up for grabs in the 10km race only, are R1 000 for the first male and female to finish. The second male and female will receive R800 and the third male and female, R500 each.
All athletes who finish the run will receive a medal. The organisers assure the safety and security of all on the day.
