Golfers take to Graceland greens in Secunda for a good cause

Two wheelchairs were donated of which one can be used for around the house and the other for travelling purposes.

Ardent golfers took to Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club greens to play in a fundraiser for JF Grobler (11) that was hosted by the MarshCup on Saturday, August 6.

At a prize-giving after the match, JF was the recipient of a new wheelchair and equipment to aid in lifting him.

JF was diagnosed with hydrocephalus.

JF Grobler is all smiles for the new wheelchairs and lifting aid he received at a charity golf day hosted by the Marsh Cup at Graceland.

Due to an infection, JF’s lower left leg had to be amputated.

He heavily relies on a wheelchair.

Because JF is getting bigger, his family finds it more difficult to pick him up and the equipment donated (Samsoft mini patient lifter) by members of the MarshCup will make their day-to-day challenges a bit easier.
